Application Reliability Developer

Are you already excited when you hear terms like logging and monitoring? Eager to share your knowledge with an ambitious start-up? Great! Then you’ve come to the right place at CloudFuel!

As an Application Reliability Developer you make sure our customers’ applications run smoothly. With expertise in observability and monitoring, you know exactly what is needed to properly manage each application. You ensure that all necessary telemetry and error messages are logged, increasing the stability, scalability and capabilities of monitoring and diagnosis. You define health models that measure and visualize the health of each application, predicting and preventing rather than solving problems.
Anyway, you come into contact with different development stacks, but you are most familiar with the .NET stack. Limited knowledge of any development stack, framework or tool will not prevent you from extracting the right telemetry data from any application or from tying all processes together to achieve end-to-end tracing and monitoring. However, experience with OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, Log Analytics and Azure Monitor is a must.

What do we offer?

  • Flexibility is key at CloudFuel: no 9-5 mentality or static roles. You’re in the driver seat.

What do we expect from you?

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with both frontend and backend web application development and technologies as OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, Log Analytics and Azure Monitor.
  • Ability to see the “bigger picture” as well as the crucial “details” in implementation.
  • A hands-on mentality, strong communication skills and taking ownership.
  • You know which tools to implement to monitor and analyse projects.
  • You document your tasks, processes and deliverables well to make your colleagues’ lives easier.
